A newer technology and new services await tourists, who wish to comfortably get acquainted with Budapest, even without a tourist guide. The Budapest Card, with its renewed design and technology allows of using more reduced rate services than previously.
The Budapest Card of 2013 provides allowances for sightseeing city tours, museums, restaurants, and several other cultural programs. During the development of a new selection of service providers, the main aim was to find quality and free of charge services, therefore the design and technology of the card has been renewed.
In order to emphasize the motto, Budapest, the city of spas, as a new element among the services is that the card-holders may once enter Lukács Bath for free, and will get 10-20% discount at the baths and open-air beaches as well. The next novelty is that among the venues, which accept the card, visitors will also find the Ice Park and Boating Lake at the City Park, as well the Hungarian State Opera. Apart from all these, 70 places offer a 10-50% discount from their services to card-holders.
