Open day of EU developments more than one thousand visitors at the Metro Line 4 Tétényi út station

The National Development Agency has held an open day on 2nd March, where it has introduced significant investments realized in the framework of EU developments. In Budapest the building of the Liszt Academy of Music, the Metro Line 4 station at Tétényi út and the restoration plans of the Castle Bazaar have been introduced to the audience. A few thousand people have visited these events in the capital city, and Deputy Mayor Balázs Szeneczey has also attended the programme at the metro station.

All the ten stations of the new metro line will have a common feature, the so-called “visible concrete surface”. The point of this architectural solution, which is spreading more and more, is that the colour of the largest part of the surfaces remains natural concrete. Thanks to the specific dome structure, the universal architectural concept of letting natural light into the stations of the new metro line will be particularly noticeable at the Tétényi station. Such solutions, like large inner space and natural light, will also ease the feeling of being locked in down there, and will increase their comfort as well.
