Budapest Zoo: support for people with disabilities, newborn lion cubs, 100-day-old elephant cub
According to the agreement, the five most important national lobby organizations of people with disabilities, as well as those who accompany them will receive reduced rates, they all will receive 30% discount on current ticket prices.

Giraffe born at Budapest Zoo
The Rotschild’s giraffes were named after the well-known banker Walter Rotschild. They are endangered ungulates, there are only 700 of them in the wild. In all zoos of the world there are about 450 Rotschild giraffes.
Tarlós István has handed over the symbolic key of the summer capital city to the mayor of Siófok
The citizens of Budapest have played a great role in the process, following which Siófok had been pronounced as a healing-bath destination, recalled Mayor István Tarlós. Most of the guests nowadays are still from Budapest.
Budapest Summer Festival for the 10th time
The Budapest Summer Festival will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Open-air Stage on Margaret Island. The largest and the only built open-air stage in the country, has opened in 1938 to serve the Hungarian theatrical culture.

The Municipality of Budapest in close partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has opened the Migration Information Desk at its Client Services Department located on Bárczy István Street near Deák Ferenc Square.
