At the end of May the repertoire of the musical fountain on Margaret Island has renewed. Twice a day, at 11h00 and 16h00 children’s songs are played, in these sections the audience can listen to songs: “A cinege cipője” from Halász Judit, the soundtrack of the cartoon Pumukli, the Abrakadabra from Cinderella, the soundtrack of “Vuk” from Wolf Kati, the “Miki manó” from 100 Folk Celsius, the “Micimackó” from Koncz Zsuzsa, and the “Legyetek jók, ha tudtok” (“State buoni se potete”) song from Napóleon Boulevard. In the evening, from 21h00 till 22h00 the fountain is playing its whole repertoire.

The musical fountain on Margaret Island is considered to be one of the largest in Europe, with its 35 meter diameter pool containing 400 cubic meters of water, and a more than 1000 square meters water surface. It jets the water up to10 meters, in the evenings 250 energy saving LED lights are providing the moodlighting.
The extended fountain on Margaret Island was inaugurated on 2013 by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Mayor István Tarlós.
