In line with the last year’s decision of the General Assembly of Budapest, the Amusement Park will close for good at the end of this season, on 30th September, and it will hand over its space successively to the Zoo of Budapest. The Amusement Park awaits its visitors every day, and they can buy passes at a reduced price of HUF 14,700. The institution also provides reduced rates for groups, families and students, tickets can be ordered via internet as well.
The Amusement Park has been operating since 1950, however the predecessor of the institution, the Vurstli has been operating for 175, and the English Park for almost 100 years now. To present the nearly two hundred years of entertainment, a photo book was created, which is available for the visitors in the park’s shop. There is also an exhibition revealing the curiosities of the Amusement Park in September, inside the hall of the carousel.
