The world’s largest wastewater treatment technology by living machines has been implemented in Budapest. The total cost of the investment is 1.3 billion forint. Owing to the developments, water with parameters better than EU standards is poured into the Ráckeve-Soroksár Danube branch.
The Mayor added: the Municipality of Budapest is eager to take advantage of every opportunity to perpetuate a cleaner and more liveable city and natural environment for the next generation, therefore they will be open to implement green technologies in factories and institutions in the future as well.
