Deputy Mayor Gábor Bagdy has received H. E. Ambassador Karin Olofsdotter in his office. The Deputy Mayor has provided the diplomat with information on the CET development project and the planned utilization of its shop premises. With this regard the Ambassador has offered her cooperation to inform Swedish business communities.
The parties have also discussed the issue of refurbishment and restoration of Anna Lindh and Olof Palme monuments located in the Városliget, and the idea of erecting a monument to the memory of Raoul Wallenberg has also been raised. The monument may be erected at its deserved place next year, during the 70th anniversary of events from 1944, in line with the activities of Holocaust 2014 Memorial Committee, founded by the Hungarian government.
