On the initiative of the Embassy of Mexico, on 21 February the Budapest History Museum will open the exhibition of Julio Carrasco Bretón in Budapest Gallery, titled “Kaleidoscope of my imagination”, presenting a collection of the artist’s works.
This exhibition is the first debut of Julio Carrasco Bretón in Hungary. The artist is one of the most important figures of Mexican fine arts, and a significant representative of muralismo, the Mexican wall painting. The exhibition in the Budapest Gallery consists of almost 30 paintings.
The exhibition will be opened by H. E Isabel B. Téllez Rosete, Ambassador of Mexico and Attila Zsigmond, Director of Budapest Gallery, and will be available till 10 March 2013.
