The public lighting along the promenade of the Buda-side embankment between Lánchíd (Chain Bridge) and Margaret Bridge has been completed. The HUF 56 million investment included the change of 88 street light columns and lamps, all looking the same as those along the other sections of the interconnected railway network of Buda. The new street lights have better efficiency than the previous ones, which results in a 15,000 kWh energy saving and around half a million Forint electricity fee spare in a year. Thanks to the development the city managed to create a single and harmonious urban landscape on that particular passage.
