The stations of Metro Line 4 at Fővám tér and Gellért tér have been ranked first in the category of community architecture of the 2015 ArchDaily Building of the Year Awards, the list of ArchDaily international architecture portal.

The results of the competition announced in fourteen categories were published last week on the website www.archdaily.com. The ranking of the portal, founded in 2008, is basing on the readers’ votes. The voters have chosen a winner for each of the fourteen categories of the Building of the Year competition, selecting from a list of more than 3,000 projects, involving among others public education, governmental, office, commercial, religious and sports facilities.

The plans of the Fővám tér and Gellért tér stations were prepared by the young sporaarchitects architect studio, which has previously been awarded for these stations by architizer.com as well.
