The inauguration of the renewed cultural centre and park at Erzsébet tér took place on Sunday. A cultural centre has been established, which meets European standards as well, said Mayor István Tarlós during the inauguration ceremony.
We aim at developing a livable and lovable Budapest, which does not split from the weekdays, but rather helps and supports the everyday life, whether it concerns business life, the inhabitants living here, or tourists spending their time in the city. I dream of a Budapest, where everyone living here, falling in love with it or visiting it feels at home, said István Tarlós.
The investor has spent HUF 2.5 billion on the realization of the Cultural Centre at Erzsébet tér. The Aquarium Club has been completely renewed, the Terminal Restaurant and Gastro Shop is ready to start operating. A two-storey theatre hall, a concert hall, and a multifunctional event hall await the visitors. Following the inauguration the Design Terminal as well as the Fröccsterasz keep on functioning, added the mayor.
