The Euroschool in EU Project organised the “Visegrad Group in the EU experience” educational programme for students studying international relations at Ukrainian universities. The closing event of the five-day programme was held in the Rákóczi Square Market Hall with the participation of Mr. Mihajlo Junger, Chargé d’Affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in Budapest.
„This action of public diplomacy is aimed at expressing the sincere gratitude of Ukrainians to Hungarians for their solidarity with Ukraine as well as the significant and constant support of Hungary for Ukraine’s European integration and the provision of humanitarian and other assistance to Ukraine”, Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Mihajlo Junger said during the event.
As part of the Euroschool project the students visited the Hungarian Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary and the Mayor’s Office Budapest. During the meeting at the Mayor’s Office, the Office of International Relations prepared with presentations in the following topics: the organisational structure of the Municipality of the City of Budapest, the international and sister city relations of the City of Budapest and the European integration process with its consequences affecting Budapest.
