Mayor István Tarlós has inaugurated the capital's first light garden on Margaret Island, where he presented the multimedia expansion of the musical fountain.
In a short speech István Tarlós said that every evening, celebrities and photos of historical persons will be shown on the water curtain of the fountain, while on the northern side of the island 100-140 years old trees will be illuminated in different shapes. The mayor said he hopes that these developments will bring new joy to the citizens of Budapest and its visitors.
The animation projected on the water curtain can be seen as part of the music program until the end of the summer, every night from 9 am to 10 p.m., depending on the time of sunset.
